Is this everything I need?
Yes, for a non-ducted RV: unit, ceiling assembly, gasket. Four bolts and about two hours with two people for the lift.
Does the ceiling assembly fit a Mach 8?
Yes. Coleman-Mach's 2025 catalog lists the 9430-720 for every profile, the ultra-low Mach 8 included.
Will it clear my garage or carport?
It stands 8.25 in above the roof, the lowest rooftop unit Coleman-Mach builds. Measure from the ground to the roof surface at the opening and add 8.25 in.
Will it run on my generator?
Plan on 3,500 W to be safe. Coleman-Mach does not publish a starting current for the Mach 8 Plus, so we do not promise a small-inverter start. The 1497-3601 soft start cuts starting current up to 75 percent; ask us before you rely on a 2,200 W generator.
Do I need a wall thermostat?
No. Control is through the Coleman-Mach app over Bluetooth.
