Will it run on my generator?
On a 2,200 W inverter like a Honda EU2200i, yes, with the soft start. Without it, plan on about 3,500 W to start the compressor.

Is the heat strip included?
No. The kit is heat ready; add the 38203-4551 strip at checkout or any time later. It installs in the ceiling assembly in about twenty minutes.
Is this everything I need?
Yes, for a ducted RV: unit, ceiling assembly with heat-ready control box, wall thermostat, gasket. Add the soft start for a small generator.
Will it run on my Honda EU2200i?
With the 1497-3601 soft start, yes. Without it a 15,000 BTU unit needs about 3,500 W to start. The heat strip is a 16 A, about 1,800 W load on its own.
How do I know my RV is ducted?
Cold air comes out of vents along the ceiling, not from the air conditioner itself. If it blows straight out of the unit, you need the non-ducted kit.
