Will it run on my generator?
Yes. It starts on a 2,200 W inverter generator like a Honda EU2200i with nothing added. The variable-speed compressor ramps up instead of slamming on.

Which ceiling assembly and thermostat?
Only the 2111-0044 360-degree ceiling assembly and the 2111-0043 heat/cool (or 2111-0045 cool only) thermostat. Mach 3, 15 and 10 parts do not interchange.
Will it run on my Honda EU2200i?
Yes. It draws about 916 W nominal and the inverter compressor has no hard start surge, so a 2,200 W inverter generator starts and runs it without a soft start kit.
Ducted or non-ducted?
Either. The 2111-0044 ceiling assembly works both ways.
Does it heat?
No. It is cool only. The heat/cool thermostat runs your furnace. For rooftop heat see the Mach 10 or Mach 15 heat pump.
Why is it quieter?
Variable speed. It runs at the speed the room needs instead of cycling a fixed compressor on and off; 53 dB on low.
