Questions buyers ask

Questions buyers ask

Which option do I pick?

Analog if you want a simple slider stat. WiFi to start and schedule the air conditioner from your phone. The heat pump option only if the unit on your roof is a Coleman-Mach heat pump.

Do I need to run wires?

Yes: thermostat wire from the ceiling assembly to the wall, and 12 V DC to the thermostat circuit. Most RVs have 12 V nearby at a light or the furnace stat. If that is a problem, the Bluetooth ceiling assembly needs no wall wiring.

Can I keep my furnace on the same thermostat?

Yes. Both stats have a heat setting that runs a single-stage 12 V furnace.

Can I add a heat strip later?

Yes, on the two heat-ready options: 38203-4551 for Mach 3, 15 and 10, 37203-4551 for the Mach 8.
